Last updated: 5/3/2022
GreenWave Advisors, LLC (GWA, “we”, or “us”) respects the privacy of every visitor to GWA’s group of websites (collectively, “Websites”). Your privacy is a priority to us, and we go to great lengths to protect it. We want you to enjoy your experience with the confidence that your data and use are safe and secure. This is our Privacy Policy regarding the information we collect on GWA’s Websites. Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. If changed, we will post an updated Privacy Policy on this page for your review.
Questions or comments regarding this policy should be directed to info@greenwaveadvisors.com.
WHAT INFORMATION/DATA DO WE GATHER?
GWA gathers two types of data from our Websites’ users:
- general access and usage tracking information.
- limited personal information about a user such as name, email address, (and billing address if making a purchase or subscribing to a product or service).
TRACKING INFORMATION
Access, and usage tracking information is automatically collected about all users of our Websites. This information consists of both individual and aggregated access and usage tracking information and is automatically gathered using “cookies.” A “cookie” is a small text file that helps us recognize repeat visitors, facilitate the visitor’s ongoing access and use of the site, track usage behavior, and compile aggregate data that can lead to website improvements. If you do not want information collected through the use of cookies, you can deny or accept the cookie
feature using a simple procedure available in most browsers. If you block cookies, however, you may lose some website functionality.
We use cookies in several ways to track user behavior. Cookies gather and retain users’ likes, preferences, and past activity on Websites in order to allow us to provide better service. The information we gather on an individual basis may be used for advertising, promotion, and/or internal purposes, such as accessing a member’s account information to review activity. We also use usage and access tracking information on an aggregated basis, to monitor the interest in our information based on number of visitors, the depth of readership of any articles, statements, blogs, or stories and adoption rates and usage of our products. This allows us to monitor and analyze usage patterns and manage higher traffic times more effectively on our Websites, and to provide anonymous reporting of usage for internal and external clients. In all cases, cookies used by GWA are encoded and contain a unique digital signature to prevent tampering. They do not
contain user passwords. We employ technology that is commonly referred to as “action tags” (also known as “web beacons,” “scripts” or “one pixel .gif files”) to measure the effectiveness of our advertisements.
We may use either our own or third-party analytics remarketing codes to log when users view specific web pages or take specific actions on our Websites to allow us to provide focused marketing and advertising to our users.
In addition to the cookies described above as used by GWA, its agents, advertisers, and third-party advertising vendors that serve ads onto our Websites, other third-party partners may use their own or third-party cookies or other tracking technologies for marketing and advertising, including delivering targeted advertisements and marketing messages based upon their websites you visit, or other purposes. We cannot be, and are not, responsible for the privacy policies or practices of third-party advertisers and vendors or any third-party linked websites.
You may disable or adjust the ability to accept new cookies on our Websites by adjusting your browser’s settings regarding cookies by selecting “Internet Options” or “Preferences” or similar as applicable in the menu bar of your browser.
